PALS Training – 2024 - Department of Paediatrics
Department of Paediatrics conducted one-day Hospital certificate training program on Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for nurses on 9/7/2024 at Skill Lab, Academic block, MMCH&RC. Sessions included lectures, video demonstrations, teaching stations, skill stations and scenario enactment. 27 Nurses from PICU, NICU, ED and various clinical wards participated in the course. Dr Babu Francis (PALS Course Director), Dr Kavitha T K (PALS Course Coordinator), Dr Muhammed Basheer (Program Coordinator), Dr Akbara, Dr Anjali, Dr Vandana and Dr Sruthi took sessions as faculty of the program.
Program concluded with a team dynamics enactment by PGS & HS (Dr Nirmal, Dr Ayisha, Dr Sreehari, Dr Akshaya, Dr Theertha, Dr Krishna and Dr Abhina) of Dept of Paediatrics. Certificates were given to all course participants after post-test assessment. Thanking management for the whole support. PICU Sister in charge (Sister Swinish), Skill Lab Staff, and Biomedical Team assisted in smooth conduction of the program.
