(ENHANCING PUBLIC HEALTH ACUMEN NATIONAL CONFERENCE)
EPHACON 2024 National Conference, organized by Department of Community Medicine, Malabar Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (MMCH & RC), Ulliyeri, Kozhikode, was conducted on 14th & 15th of June 2024. The theme of the conference was ‘TB CHRONICLES- Lessons from the Past, Insights for the Future’. The conference was inaugurated virtually by the Honorable Director of Medical Education, Kerala- Prof. Dr. Thomas Mathew. The inaugural function was presided by Dr P.V. Narayanan, Principal, MMCH&RC.
The theme of our conference “TB Chronicles” encapsulates the journey of Tuberculosis from historical accounts to contemporary challenges and triumphs. Narrative on TB across time, geography and communities, highlighting the struggles, advancements and hopes associated with combating this ancient yet persistent disease. An update on cutting-edge research, innovative interventions and effective strategies to combat Tuberculosis.
