REPORT OF MALABAR POTCON 2022
The Department of Orthopedics, Malabar Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Ulliyeri, Modakkallur, Kozhikode organized one day CME on Paediatric Orthopaedics Trauma titled “MALABAR POTCON 2022”on Sunday, 12th of June, 2022 at MMCH & RC. The theme focus of the workshop was on Paediatric orthopaedic elbow injuries. The program was conducted under the aegis of Kerala Orthopaedic Association and Calicut Orthopaedic Society. Kerala State Medical Council of Modern Medicine has granted 2 hours credit time wide letter No. C1/6474/2022/MC-CME/I.A dated 06.05.2022. In the inaugural ceremony, welcome speech was delivered by Prof. M.K. Ravindran (Head, Dept. of Orthopedics). The presidential address was given by Sri. Anil Kumar (Chairman). Following lighting of lamp ceremony was held. The inauguration of CME was done by Dr. Ramakrishnan S.(Kerala Orthopedic Association). Principal’s address was delivered by Dr. P.V. Narayanan (Principal). Dr. Sudha Anil (Secretary), Dr. Antony Jacob Thoppil (Secretary, Kerala Orthopedic Association) and Dr. Sibin Surendran (President, Calicut Orthopedic Society) felicitated in the program. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. A.N.Sadanandan (Prof., Dept. of Orthopedics). The inaugural ceremony was followed by an academic feast covering important topics related to the main theme of the program. A quiz programme was being organized exclusively for Post Graduates with attractive prizes for winners.
