Dr. Dinesh Babu completed his MBBS degree from Government Medical College, Calicut in 1992 and went on to complete his MS in General Surgery from the same institution in 2001. His formative years in Calicut Medical College laid a strong foundation for his surgical proficiency and clinical acumen.
Before joining our institution, Dr. Dinesh Babu held key positions at KMCT Medical College and PK Das Medical College, where he was recognized for his dedication to patient care and his active involvement in surgical training.
In 2021, he joined our esteemed institution as an Associate Professor in the Department of General Surgery. Through his consistent performance and contributions to the department, he was later elevated to the position of Professor.
Dr. Dinesh Babu has a keen interest in laparoscopic surgery, particularly in the domains of gastrointestinal procedures and hernia repair. His precise surgical techniques and evidence-based approach have earned him respect from both colleagues and students.
