Dr. Abhishek M Nair is an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Surgery. He joined the institution on 24 March 2025 as a Senior Resident and has since progressed to his current academic position.
He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Academy of Medical Sciences, Pariyaram, Kannur, followed by Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery from Malabar Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Kozhikode.
He has a special interest in Minimal Access Surgery, with an academic and professional focus on contemporary surgical techniques and patient-centred surgical care. His interests include the application of minimally invasive approaches in general surgical practice, with an emphasis on safe, precise and evidence-based surgical management.
