Dr. M. P. Jayakrishnan, retired Professor of Paediatrics from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, joined our institution on 15-06-2026 as Professor in the Department of Paediatrics.
Dr. Jayakrishnan began his academic career as Senior Lecturer in Paediatrics at Government Medical College, Kottayam. Over a distinguished career spanning more than 25 years, he has served in various capacities including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor at several prestigious government medical institutions, including Government Medical College, Kozhikode, Government T.D. Medical College, Alappuzha, and Government Medical College, Kasaragod.
He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, and his MD in Paediatrics from Madras Medical College. He also holds a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram.
With a strong academic foundation, extensive clinical experience, and a dedicated commitment to patient care, Dr. Jayakrishnan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our Paediatric Department. His vast experience in teaching, clinical practice, and academic leadership will be invaluable in further enhancing the quality of patient care and medical education at our institution.
