(Prof.) Dr. Ravindran is a senior retired professor, widely recognized as a maestro of Orthopedics across the state. With decades of exemplary service in the field of orthopedic surgery and medical education, he brings unmatched experience and leadership to our institution.
Dr. Ravindran completed his MBBS in 1985, laying the foundation for an illustrious medical career. He went on to pursue his Diploma in Orthopedics (D.Ortho) in 1998, followed by MS in Orthopedics in 1999, both from the prestigious Government Medical College, Calicut, one of the leading centers for orthopedic training in Kerala.
He began his academic journey as a Lecturer in Orthopedics at Government Medical College, Alappuzha, and later served in various senior roles, culminating in his retirement as Professor of Orthopedics from Government Medical College, Calicut. Throughout his tenure, he was admired for his clinical precision, depth of knowledge, and commitment to training the next generation of orthopedic surgeons.
In 2017, Dr. Ravindran joined our institution, where he continues to share his vast clinical and academic experience. He currently serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Orthopedics and also holds the prestigious position of Medical Superintendent of the institution.
Dr. Ravindran is respected not only for his surgical expertise but also for his integrity, humility, and dedication to patient care. His presence continues to inspire students, residents, and colleagues alike.
