Dr. Gulsiv Nair is a dedicated academician and microbiologist who joined Malabar Medical College & Research Centre on 10th June 2024 as Professor in the Department of Microbiology. With a strong foundation in medical microbiology and a keen interest in infection control, he brings a wealth of knowledge and academic insight to the institution.
He completed his MBBS from Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Kolenchery, and earned his MD in Microbiology from the prestigious Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi.
Dr. Gulsiv Nair has a special interest in antimicrobial resistance and infection control, areas that are critical in contemporary medical practice and hospital management. His commitment to research and clinical application in these domains contributes significantly to the department’s academic and clinical outreach.
His expertise and dedication continue to enhance the teaching environment and reinforce the standards of microbiology education at our institution.
