Dr. Gokul R. Krishnan is a highly qualified surgical specialist with extensive academic training and advanced expertise in Surgical Oncology. He joined us on 1st October 2026 as Senior Consultant in the Department of Surgical Oncology.
He completed his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, and also obtained DNB (General Surgery) and the prestigious Membership of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS). He subsequently pursued DrNB in Surgical Oncology from MVR Cancer Centre & Research Institute, Kozhikode. Further enhancing his surgical expertise, he obtained the Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) from WLH, Delhi, and completed International Uniportal Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) Training in Shanghai, China.
With a strong academic foundation and specialized training in surgical oncology and minimally invasive surgical techniques, Dr. Gokul R. Krishnan brings valuable clinical expertise to the department. His professional interests include the surgical management of cancer, advanced oncological procedures, and minimally invasive surgical approaches. He is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based and patient-centred cancer care, with an emphasis on clinical excellence, precision in surgical practice, and compassionate patient management.
