Dr. Chandni R is a distinguished physician, academician, and medical administrator with over 33 years of experience in clinical practice, medical education, research, and healthcare leadership. She retired as Principal of Government Medical College, Wayanad, after an exemplary career in the Government Medical Education Service. She served as Professor of Medicine and Head of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, where she played a key role in strengthening emergency medical services and mentoring future generations of medical professionals.
She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, and obtained her MD in General Medicine from Motilal Nehru Medical College, Uttar Pradesh. She began her medical career as a Physician at District Co-operative Hospital, Malappuram. During her illustrious career, Dr. Chandni has worked at several leading government medical institutions, including Government Medical College, Thrissur, Government Medical College, Kozhikode, Government Medical College, Manjeri, and Government Medical College, Wayanad. She has made significant contributions to patient care, undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, academic administration, and clinical research.
Dr. Chandni has authored and co-authored numerous research publications in national and international peer-reviewed medical journals and has actively participated in scientific conferences, continuing medical education (CME) programmes, and academic workshops.
