Dr. S Vinayachandran

Dr. S Vinayachandran began his distinguished career in Obstetrics and Gynecology after earning his MD from Mahatma Gandhi University and DGO from Delhi University. He completed his MBBS from Kerala University, laying a strong foundation for his medical journey. 

With over 30 years of dedicated service at Government Medical College, Calicut, Dr. Vinayachandran retired as a Professor, having made profound contributions to both clinical practice and medical education. Throughout his tenure, he earned a reputation for excellence in patient care and as a mentor to countless medical students and junior doctors. 

Dr. Vinayachandran is widely recognized as a leading authority in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a particular specialization in infertility. In 2020, he joined our institution as Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has since been a vital member of our faculty. Currently, he serves as the Professor and Head of the Department, leading clinical services and academic initiatives. 

As an expert laparoscopic surgeon, Dr. Vinayachandran has developed a special interest in managing high-risk pregnancies, infertility treatments, and performing advanced laparoscopic procedures. His clinical skills are complemented by his active engagement in research, with numerous national and international publications that reflect his commitment to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes. 

His leadership, expertise, and dedication continue to inspire both colleagues and students, significantly contributing to the growth and excellence of our Obstetrics and Gynecology Department.
