Dr. Lakshmy S joined our esteemed institution on 2nd August 2025 as Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She brings with her an exceptional career that reflects a perfect blend of clinical expertise and academic dedication, backed by decades of experience in women’s healthcare.
Dr. Lakshmy completed her MBBS and DGO at Government Medical College, Calicut, and completed MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from KIMS, Hubli. She also holds a DNB in Obstetrics and Gynecology, awarded by the National Board of Examinations.
A retired Professor from Government Medical College, Calicut, Dr. Lakshmy has made significant contributions to both patient care and medical education. Her unwavering commitment to maternal and reproductive health, along with her passion for teaching and mentorship, continues to enhance the academic environment and elevate the standards of care at Malabar Medical College.
