Dr. Nandakumar G is a seasoned dermatologist renowned for his exceptional clinical acumen combined with a strong academic foundation. With decades of experience in medical education and patient care, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field of dermatology.
He completed his MBBS, Diploma in Dermatology and Venereology (DVD), and MD in Dermatology from the prestigious Government Medical College, Calicut — one of the leading medical institutions in Kerala.
Dr. Nandakumar began his medical career as a Tutor in the Department of Dermatology at Government Medical College, Calicut. Over a distinguished career spanning 24 years in the Kerala State Health Service, he rose through the ranks and retired as Professor of Dermatology in 2008.
Post-retirement from government service, he continued to contribute to the field of dermatology in various academic roles. He served as Professor and Head of the Department of Dermatology at Kannur Medical College, Anjarakandy, and later joined DM WIMS, where he served for three years, further enriching the academic and clinical environment.
On 1st July 2020, Dr. Nandakumar joined our prestigious institution, where he continues to mentor students and provide expert care to patients. His vast experience, combined with a deep commitment to teaching and patient well-being, makes him an invaluable asset to the department and the institution as a whole.
