Dr. Prathilash K is a multitalented personality with incredible leadership. He completed MBBS from MVJ Medical College and Research Hospital, Banglore in 2010 and took MD in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kerala in 2016. He had started his career as Casualty Medical Officer at Nirmala Hospital Vellimadukunnu in 2012 and provisional Lecturer in Department of Paediatric Surgery at Govt. Medical College Calicut. He has performed 450 autopsies with vast experience in dealing with medico-legal issues of hospital. He is specially trained in toxicology and a proactive teacher in taking undergraduate classes in the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. He is involved in research activities, presentations and publications. He is co-coordinator for Medical Education Unit and is the lead in functioning of Simulation Lab for training students. He has been working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Forensic Medicine in our institution since 01-06-2016 and is presently designated as Associate Professor on 01-08-2020.
