Pragila VM is a licensed clinical psychologist, currently working at Malabar Medical College, Calicut. She has graduated from Prajyoti Niketan College, post graduated from University of Calicut. Pragila has obtained MPhil from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS, Kochi). She has expertise in psychological assessments and has trained and specialized in recent 3rd waves of psychotherapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and Interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT). She has good experience in dealing with mental health problems like depression, OCD, anxiety disorders, marital issues, mental health problems associated with cancer patients, LGBTQ community. She worked as an Assistant Professor at Farook College for 1 year and was working at Mindplus psychological services Thalassery as Clinical psychologist.
