Dr. Santhosh. R is a burgeoning Surgical Gastroenterologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon with fine tuned hands in advanced Gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and pancreatic procedures. He is maestro in performing all gastrointestinal surgical procedures including Laparoscopic Gastrointestinal oncology and Bariatric surgery related operations with competence. He earned his MBBS degree from Vijayanagar Institute of medical sciences, Bellary in 2009 , pursued MS(General surgery) from RIMS, Imphal in 2013 and DNB surgical Gastroenterology in 2016. His previous assignments were at DM WIMS, Wayanad as senior resident in the department of General Surgery for a year, further in Jagjivan Ram Railway Hospital, Mumbai in Department of Surgical Gastroenterology for 3 years, Laparoscopic surgical trainee in Gem Hospital, Coimbatore and in Department of Surgical Gastroenterology and Hepatobiliary Surgery at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Science, Lucknow. He joined the MMC family since 2019 as Consultant Gastrosurgeon in the Department of Gastro Surgery.
