He is gifted surgeon with competent academic excellence. He completed MBBS in the year 1982, pursued DOMS in the year 1986, MS (Ophthalmology) in the year 1987 from J.J.M Medical College, Mysore. He has undergone specialized training in small incision cataract surgery and phacoemulsification. He has 24 years of teaching experience for undergraduate students and 11 years of teaching experience for post-graduate students in JSS Medical College, Mysore. He started career as a senior Tutor and was promoted as Professor & Head of the Department of Ophthalmology at JSS Medical College, Mysore. He joined our prestigious institution as Professor, Department of Ophthalmology since September 2014.
